It was very comfortable and quiet. Close to town and shops.
We enjoyed the efficiency room.

Owner was very nice Bed was comfortable pool was small but looked nice - did not actually go in it. Had a small refrigerator and microwave.
To be fair, we have a nice Motor Home and usually stay in it, but failed to make reservations in time and had limited lodging choices that did not cost great amounts of money - were in area for an Arts Festival we participate in. So, we settled on The coachmen. It was not a good experience for us. The room was depressing even though we were only in it for a few hours before we slept every evening. I can not recommend it as it was too difficult to get ready in the morning with the lack of sufficient light, etc. Room was very musty smelling and extremely outdated. Very bad lighting. Very uncomfortable chairs. Poor room design. The only mirror was over a dresser in the far corner with no light available. No electric outlet in bathroom. Supposed to be wi- fi everywhere, could not get on with either of two lap tops. Breakfast supposed to be included in room rate at restaurant, but it wasn't even open - owner says she has a continental breakfast available in the office at 8:00 hairdryer and iron and board supposed to be in every room, but were not had to request them. Unfortunately we had booked for 4 nights.

Helga the owner made us feel so welcomed and comfortable - she is lovely! The pool was fantastic - clean, big, and warm!
The rooms are dated but clean and comfortable.

Helga Walsh is very friendly, as are any other staff people we met.
Maybe I am wrong, but I remember when I booked the room through Bookings I was offered a Queensize room at one price and a Kingsize for an additional amount. I chose the Kingsize bedroom. We were given a room with a queen and a doube bed. Helga said that they only had one kingsize bedroom and that was the suite and would cost an additional thirty dollars/nite. When we went for breakfast the next morning(included), there was no breakfast, no restaurant! She was serving coffee, tea, and biscuits in the office. She said that they were short staffed and had to close the restaurant.. She did not offer to reduce our roomrate, nor did we ask for it to be reduced. I will not stay there again because I thought this was false advertising.

Friendly host. Accommodations fine. Beds comfortable. Towels changed daily. Old-fashioned decor was sweet. Pool looked immaculate. Wifi didn't work; had to go to the library in Chatham for internet connection. Would stay there again.
Advertised WiFi, but we couldn't get it to work. Host tried to help, but was not computer savvy. Library in Chatham was a gathering place for people who needed to connect. Sort of a little cultural event.

rooms were old , dark musty. they were not set up in a manner that made it easy to do anything. hasn't been updated since the 80s. older person could easily fall in the shower!

Good location.
Curtains didn't cover the windows. Remote didn't match the TV so we had no working remote. ("Sorry 'bout that" was the response.) No hair dryer or ironing board & iron. When I asked, I was told to go to a room across the court to get it. The 'help' turned air conditioner off while we were out of the room so we came back to oppressive heat. No help to load bags when leaving. I'll NEVER go there again.
